Your Master

Your Master

Men, are you being “double-minded” as in James 1:8 and/or trying to “serve two masters” as in Matthew 6:24? Are you unstable in your life, do you hate one of your masters?

A similar type of question that Elijah asked the people of Israel at Mount Carmel should be asked of us today to help us identify who we are serving. This helps us so that we can walk strong in the Lord and not continue limping along.
1 Kings 18:21 “And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” And the people did not answer him a word.”

If we ask ourselves this question maybe it will help us identify a doublemindedness in us.

If the Lord is God, follow him; but if ___, then follow him. What might you insert in the blank?

Our self?

Money?

Pride?

Drugs?

Our Job?

___ (fill in the Blank)?

I encourage you today, CHOOSE to FULLY SERVE the LORD, not serving two masters.
